What we do with your data, and what we don't.

Short, because we process very little personal data.

On this site

Cookies only if you say yes. No advertising code.

We use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. This only happens if you give your consent in the bar at the bottom of the page. If you decline, Google Analytics does not load and no cookie is placed.

  • With your consent: Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.). It places cookies (_ga and _ga_…, for up to two years) and sees which pages you visit, which website you came from and whether you call, email or submit a form. Google may also process this data outside the EU. We do not use it for advertising.
  • We store your choice in your own browser.
  • What we do use: a few display preferences kept in your own browser's storage. They stay on your own device and never reach us.
  • What we do use: an anonymous counter on our own server. Each day it counts how often a button is clicked or a form is submitted, on which page, and which website a visitor came from. Without a cookie, without an IP address and without anything that lets us recognise you.
  • Our hosting provider keeps technical log entries, as every server does, in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
The forms

What you enter only reaches us.

If you fill in the contact form or the request for a speed test, we forward your details as an email to our own inbox and you receive a confirmation yourself. Nothing is stored in a database on this site.

  • What we ask for: your name, your email address, and whatever you enter yourself (your business, your question or the address of your website)
  • We use these details only to answer your question or to send you the speed test
  • We do not pass them on to third parties for their own use and we do not add you to a mailing list
  • To prevent abuse, the server briefly counts how many messages arrive from the same IP address. That count is deleted after one minute
  • If it does not lead to us working together, we delete the message no later than twelve months after our last contact
Our social channels

We only manage our own pages.

We manage our pages on LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok through our own integration. It only publishes a post after one of us has approved it, and it retrieves the figures for our own posts.

  • What we see: the statistics for our own pages (reach, views, clicks) as totals, and the comments under our own posts, with the name the platform shows alongside them
  • What for: to manage our pages and to reply to people who respond to us. We write the replies ourselves
  • How long: we keep comments and the accompanying name outside the platform for no more than 48 hours, and other profile data for no more than 24 hours. After that they exist only on the platform itself
  • What we do not do: view or collect profiles, combine data with other sources, or use it for sales or to approach people
  • The platform and we are jointly responsible for a page's statistics. You can put a question about this to us and we will pass it on to the platform
Processors

The parties that make it possible.

Cloudflare

Delivers this site and protects it against abuse. In doing so it processes technical data such as your IP address.

Google Workspace

Our business email. If you send us a message, that is where it arrives.

Resend

Sends the emails generated by the forms: your enquiry to us, and the confirmation to you. This company is based in the United States.

LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok

The platforms that host our pages. They provide the statistics and the comments on our own posts, and are themselves responsible for what happens on their platform.

Who we are. Thiery & Pierce, registered with the KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) under number 42166690.

Your rights. You may ask which data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. One email to [email protected] is enough. If you cannot resolve the matter with us, you can turn to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
